Sweet Sound of Triples
The Ultimate Front Page Picture that truly depicts the spirit of what it means to own and run the best ‘stroker’ that ever came out of Japan. If you want to know about the bike it’s a 1969 Mach III, or 500-SS which made its debut in September 1968. It was able to outrun just about everything else on the road at the time and apart from being the first ‘Triple’, one could say it was also the first ever Super Bike. Alternately if you want to know about the girl her name is "Kylie”.

Membership of the Kawasaki Triples Club provides many benefits including communication and contact with other members 'Worldwide', to share information and draw from a knowledge base that will assist in a restoration project as well as providing expert information on general maintenance and the upkeep of these superb bikes. The club offers the chance to meet like minded people who share a common interest in the Kawasaki triples range. We have area reps that organise local meets [weather permitting] and the chance to socialise with each other throughout the year to talk about the pros and cons of 'Triple' ownership.

The club holds at least two rallies per year where members normally camp out for the whole weekend. We hold concourse judging of bikes and award trophies for various categories of machine and there will also be a 'ride out' to a place of interest, for example Matlock bath where 50 triples disappeared in an aroma of misty haze and blue smoke.

The Northern Rally is held in the Nottingham/Derbyshire area around the first week of July. To keep everyone entertained in the evening we hold a disco on the Friday night and normally a live band on the Saturday, where in the past, some members have even joined in. The Southern Rally is normally held in the Aylesbury area around the first week in September. It is generally the same formula as the Northern Rally and in the past two years many members have made visits to a local Dyno for performance tests on their bikes.

There are two Calendars, ‘KTC Events’ which is ‘view only’ and edited by the Events Secretary and site moderators. Also a member’s calendar called ‘KTC Online’, which is open to all KTC members to post, birthdays and any other local or special events that you would like to advertise. To select between the two Calendars go to the drop down box called, Calendars’ within the calendar page.
