Loads of gleaming triples...
...missing 70 H1 & H1C I think ?

Plenty of green H1s

Jeff's H2B

Lovely H1A

I think this was the guy that helped Gary & Simon loads

Non-standard frame though...

in the holding area ready for parade

Plenty of smoke on the first lap

A few of JP (He was the only one going round I recognised)

A couple of nice H1Bs

JP gave out Trophies - Simon (back pictured with trophy holding his one) got furthest travelled

Best H1

Some other two strokes... YR3 (circa 69 ?)

"OK Gary, I know what - tear the tab of that spark plug box & wedge the rotor back together with that"

& it worked !!!
...not for long Sad
...but at least it got back to the UK Smile

Gary noticed we had broken down next to a sign depicting 3 wise men...

Guillaume he is
Thank you Nick for the great pictures
Yes it is Guillaume with the green racing H1 the man who do the reparations on Gary and Simon's bikes.
This green racing bike with non standart frame has a PLT frame made by Pierre Louis TEBEC (who was GP racer on A7R then HIR on 69 71) on 1970 for race H1.
The first owner of this bike was Patrick PONS 750 world championship on 79 and sadly died at Silverstone on 1980.
Guillaume's uncle bought the bike from Patrick PONS on the seventies, had raced with this bike at on the seventies and does now classic bike race with it.
The frame has been seriously modified by Guillaume.
